This is the official blog of the Bentley Speech and Debate Society (BSDS).This organization is a relatively new one (founded in 2007) and quickly growing! We concentrate our efforts in three areas:
- Social and Political Events, Debates, and Discussions
- Public Speaking Skills
- Competitive Debate
You need not be interested in all three, but only one to be a part of BSDS! If competitive debate isn't for you and you just want to delve deeper into political discussions or if debate is in your blood, we are the place for you!
Everyone is welcome to join our meetings which are usually held around Sundays at 7 pm-8 pm at STU MCC Lounge. You don't need to be a master at speaking publicly, have any experience debating, or be a political science major (at Bentley?) to play your part in the organization!
